Although the official name of the charity is the “Lynn Wood Appeal Fund” (registered no. 224059), it has been known locally for very many years by various names, including “Pudsey Voluntary Committee for the Welfare of the Blind”, “Pudsey Blind Welfare” and is now being referred to as “Pudsey Charity for the Visually Impaired”.
